Daisy and Bee Award Winners

Mark Strickland, RN, was recognized for exemplary care, great attitude, and joy to work with!

Marta Castro was also recognized for her fantastic attitude and energy. Marta was nominated for her willingness to spend the extra time building relationships with patients and staff alike. 

Evans Memorial is very grateful and fortunate for staff like Mark and Marta. 


Holly Zerwig, RN, is our daisy winner.  Holly was hired in December of 2020 and brings 13 years of nursing experience with her.  She was nominated by a co-worker.  The co-worker stated, “Holly goes above and beyond! She is always there to lend a helping hand to her coworkers and she comes in when there are staffing shortages. Holly also advocates  for her patients and provides great care”.



Marcia Coley, PTS, is our BEE winner.    Marcia has been employed with Evans Memorial’s Jack Strickland Rehabilitation Center since August of 2006.  Licensed as a  Physical Therapy Assistant in April of 1995, Marcia has been employed by Evans Memorial and providing services at the Jack Strickland since 2006.


Marcia was nominated by one of her rehabilitation patients, who stated, “I’ve had Marcy as my therapist 6 surgeries she has always paid attention to me like no other Therapist has! She has made it possible to use my hands my arms and my shoulder we are now working on my Revision knee! She is the GREATEST THERAPIST out there! Please give her this award! She is very deserving of it!”
